Pecan Squares

I am just going to cut to the chase on this one: [note: this is a very dangerous recipe if you are trying to loose weight!]

Ingredients:
~ 3 cups of flour
~ 1/2 cup of sugar
~ 1/2 tsp. of salt
~ 1 cup of COLD butter

*FILLING*
~ 4 eggs
~ 1 and 1/2 cup of corn syrup
~ 1 and 1/2 cup of sugar
~ 3 tbs. of butter (melted)
~ 1 and 1/2 tsp. of vanilla
~ 2 and 1/2  cup of chopped pecans

Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt. Cut into butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press firmly and evenly into a greased 15 in. by 10 in. pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
2. For filling, combine the eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter, and vanilla into a bowl. Stir in pecan. Spread evenly over hot crust. Bake for 25-30 minutes longer or until set. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into squares.
ENJOY YOUR DESSERT!!
