Caramel Crumble Bars

These are amazing! I am going through a caramel phase, and these have to be the best of them all. So here it goes :D
Ingridients:
Dough:
-2 sticks of butter
-1/2 cup of white sugar
-1/2 tsp. of salt
-1 tsp. of vanilla
-2 and 1/2 cups of flour
Caramel Filling:
-4 tbsp. of butter
-1 tbsp. of corn syrup
-1/4 cup of brown sugar
-1 can of sweetened condensed milk
-1 tsp. of vanilla
-1/4 tsp. of salt
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Then spray a 9x13 pan, line the pan with aluminium foil, and then spray it again.
2. Dough: In a bowl mix together butter, sugar, and salt; and beat in vanilla.
3. Add ONLY  2 and 1/4 cup of flour ,at this time, to the bowl.
4. Take 3/4 of the dough and put it in the prepared pan. Press dough evenly in pan to form bottom layer. Put the 1/4 of dough and put it in a bowl, and put both bowl and pan in the fridge till you are done making the caramel.
5. Caramel: In a small saucepan mix together (on medium to high heat) butter, corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt. Keep on burner for about 7 minutes stirring regularly. Let it cool for a ten minutes or put in freezer for 2 minutes or less (i did it this way..much quicker!).
6. Get out the bowl of 1/4 dough and add the 1/4 cup of flour to it. Work it with your fingertips till crumbs.
7. Next add the caramel to the filling in the pan, and put the crumbs on top.
8. Lastly put in oven for about 25 to 30 minutes. Enjoy!!
