Chocolate Caramel Slices

If you like the sea salt caramel pretzel bark, then you will love these too! They were way better then I thought they were going to be! There a little bit to good actually, you just want to eat them all! Anyway here's the recipe:

Ingredients:
*For the crust*
-9 tbs. of butter
-1/4 cup of brown sugar
-1 and 1/2 cup of flour
*For the chocolate caramel*
-2 cups of chocolate
-1 and 1/2 cups of white sugar
-1/4 cup of water
-6 tbs. of butter
-1 cup of heavy cream

Directions:
1. First preheat oven to 350 degrees, then make crust. Line a 9-inch pan with butter and flour ,wax paper, ect. and set aside. Beat butter and brown sugar on medium speed until pale and fluffy (about 1-2 min). Add flour and beat until combined.






2. Press dough evenly into pan, and bake until lightly browned (about 25 min).



3. Make the chocolate caramel: Place chocolate in a medium bowl and set aside. Heat sugar and water in a small saucepan on medium heat  (5-9 min). Remove from heat. Add butter and cream: bring to boil and stirring until smooth. Pour over chocolate. Let it sit for 2 minutes, and then stir until combined.


4. Pour mixture over crust. Refrigerate for 2-3 hour or overnight. Cut it into slices and enjoy!!

Caramel Crumble Bars

These are amazing! I am going through a caramel phase, and these have to be the best of them all. So here it goes :D
Ingridients:
Dough:
-2 sticks of butter
-1/2 cup of white sugar
-1/2 tsp. of salt
-1 tsp. of vanilla
-2 and 1/2 cups of flour
Caramel Filling:
-4 tbsp. of butter
-1 tbsp. of corn syrup
-1/4 cup of brown sugar
-1 can of sweetened condensed milk
-1 tsp. of vanilla
-1/4 tsp. of salt
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Then spray a 9x13 pan, line the pan with aluminium foil, and then spray it again.
2. Dough: In a bowl mix together butter, sugar, and salt; and beat in vanilla.
3. Add ONLY  2 and 1/4 cup of flour ,at this time, to the bowl.
4. Take 3/4 of the dough and put it in the prepared pan. Press dough evenly in pan to form bottom layer. Put the 1/4 of dough and put it in a bowl, and put both bowl and pan in the fridge till you are done making the caramel.
5. Caramel: In a small saucepan mix together (on medium to high heat) butter, corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt. Keep on burner for about 7 minutes stirring regularly. Let it cool for a ten minutes or put in freezer for 2 minutes or less (i did it this way..much quicker!).
6. Get out the bowl of 1/4 dough and add the 1/4 cup of flour to it. Work it with your fingertips till crumbs.
7. Next add the caramel to the filling in the pan, and put the crumbs on top.
8. Lastly put in oven for about 25 to 30 minutes. Enjoy!!


Homemade Snow Icecream

When you run out of ice cream and there is snow outside...MAKE THIS!! Its super easy and very good, except for a tad grainy, but totally worth it!
Ingredients:
-8 cups of snow
-1 can of sweetened condensed milk
-1 tbsp. of vanilla
Directions:
-Mix all ingredients thoroughly with a mixer and put in freezer till you want to eat it or eat it strait away (it may be a bit soft)
